All email is stored in the same place. You can switch between web clients, IMAP, and shell clients without losing mail. Some settings such as address books will not be copied between clients however.

IMAP & SMTP
- IMAP: tin.murrell.co.nz , port 993. SSL is enabled.
- Kerberos is supported.
- SMTP: tin.murrell.co.nz , port 25. TLS is available.
- Kerberos is supported.
- Use of TLS and authentication is required to send from outside the server.
Spam control
- We use grey listing. The first email from a user on another domains may be delayed by up to six hours.
- We use spamassasin. Further enhancements are planned.
Shell
- Email is held in /var/maildir/username.
